1997 Eddie Bauer. The headlights are not working, but the high beams work.

I have a 1997 Eddie Bauer edition Explorer. My headlights don't come on when I turn on the switch. I tried replacing the bulbs but no luck. I tried replacing the fuse, no luck. However, the high beams work. Any insight on this?

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the lighting section. It could have a bad fuse, headlight switch or multifunction switch.

Does it have the message center in the console? It could be the lampout module.

Search for Multi function switch (MFS)
That is your turn signal/high beam lever. Probably need a new one. Common problem,

Fix isnt bad appx 35 to 50 $.

it could also be a loose wire going o the multi###ntion switch, had a van come in the shop where i work at with the same issue, thats all it was, took apart the console and found the wire was pushed out a bit
