I've been working on my wife's white '97 for the past two weeks. Today I was looking at the negative camber issue, primarily on the driver's side. I had the wheel off of it to get a good look at it. The ball joints seem fine and the adjustable camber bolts were already installed too. It is adjusted all of the way out on the driver's side, but it has a negative camber reading and wearing the inside of the front left tire mostly.
Could the front torsion bar keys be turned to lower the vehicle an inch to make the top of the wheel move out some?
If this would be a solution to the adjustment problem on this 2wd street truck, that would be a good thing. If it made the back look too jacked up, maybe make the rear shackles shorter? drill a new pair off holes in each set of shackles.
I don't see any other way to move the camber more towards positive.
