hi, i have a 1997 explorer SOHC 4.0 4wd with keyless entry and the power lock button on the drivers side wont work also it says door adjar and when i just want to listen to the radio i turn the key back to ACC and it does the ding ding ding as if the door is open. I have checked the fuses and they are all great. Any one with any ideas to what the problem is? Thanks!

Hey 006. Welcome to the forums :D If you click on search (upper right side, just above the list of threads) you will find all kinds of answered questions relative to the info your looking for :salute:

Try hitting the latch mechanism with some WD40...that usually takes care of the DOOR AJAR light.

And if the driver's door button is the only unlock method that doesn't work, you most likely have a broken wire in the bundle between the door and the body. Very common problem.

Thanks guys. Ill have to give it a try. I havent been on here in a few days. But thanks for the help!
