- 1997 ford explorer
I bought a 1997 Ford Explorer as a little project car. The car can't reverse but at the time that was the only problem, and then I noticed once it hit 25 mph it stopped shifting and just revved up quite a bit. I decided to replace he valve body gaskets( there was a crack in it). Put it back together was all excited to try t out only to find that IT IS STUCK IN PARK NOW! I have tried figuring out the problem online and I'm running out of answers, I'm picking of a new shift solenoid, but also don't no which solenoid(there are 6) it is. Are there any other reasons it is stuck in park?
YES
I have checked the brake light linkage, the fuses all look fine.
Thanks in advance
