The check engine light is on had all 4 O2 sensor replace light come back on the mechanic notice i had a after market key said that is the reason it come back on said that there was a sensor in the steering column that needs to be replace now Use a friends scanner and it said front right bank running rich

The truck wouldn't start at all if your 'aftermarket' key didn't have a chip in it. Unless someone got a PATs system bypass.

Use the search function to learn about it.

The scan tool is probably right, and the mechanic just wants to get cash from you.
