I have a lady friend who just bought a 1998 explorer eddie bower 4.0 2x4.after driving a while (usually 30 minutes or so) the enging will rev up to about 2k rpms then die and then will do it about every 5 minutes or so. it does restart and does have a check engine code for cylinder misfire. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated. I was informed by prior owner that fuel filter and coil pack have been replaced.
