1998 Explorer v8 5.0 Firing Order???

Could someone please post the firing order and diagram for 1998 5.0 Explorer?

Neighbor did my moms plugs and wires and it runs like crap. He used regular autolite plugs as well...no platinum. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If it's running.. chances are the firing order is correct, it's just that either a plug or wire is not making good contact. I'd double check that all the plugs are in and gapped correctly, and that all the wires are securely connected to both the plugs and the coil packs.

The coils should be numbered to indentify the cylinders to the coil towers.

It's the same as 351 Clevelands: 1 3 7 2 6 5 4 8

Normal plugs should do fine, if gapped right, and not cracked. Cracks are usually unnoticeable, except that the engine runs poorly. Good luck,
