I have a 1998 ford explorer with the premium sound package including the cd changer in the center console and the factory sub and amp in the back. i want to replace the stock hu with an alpine ida-x001 deck that i recently purchased as well as install my pioneer amp with 15" kicker. My main question is whether i should integrate into the factory amp or bypass it for the normal speakers? and if there is any particular wiring harness recommend? and lastly how best to disconnect the factory sub?? any help would be very greatly appreciated!!
