Hello, I was wondering does anybody know if a fully stock 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4X4 have locking differentials? Thanks

No Explorer ever came with locking diffs. Some do have a limited slip in the rear axle, though.
Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to EF. You could check the door tag & get the axle code, or check on the metal tag on the rear axle, it would be under one of the rear end cover bolts.

How do I know if mine has a limited slip? I mean if I spin my rear tires, the front tires begin to pull. Thats in 4wd Auto

Get the axle code off of the door tag and tell us what it is.

I have a bigger problem now. The sunroof is leaking. I took it into a repair shop where they sealed it off with ureathene. It still leaks. I notice that the roof rack rivets are loose. Could this be the reason? Its a 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition. It leaks all the way around the shade. Thanks

It's a good idea to start a new thread for a new completely different question or problem.

Have you tried the Search feature on this forum? I just searched for sunroof leaks and got three pages of threads with possible answers.

Good Luck,
