1998 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0 LOWER RADIATOR hose

I just ordered and received a lower radiator (coolant) hose from Rock Auto. It is obviously incorrect. Upon looking at other on-line parts suppliers, they all seem to show the same hose (which is incorrect).

My hose is definitely longer. It looks like the 1999 model year..

Has anyone else discovered this problem ?

Interestingly, Rock Auto's return procedures do NOT allow me to report that their application options on their website are wrong.

The problem may have propagated from 3rd party databases and need to be changed there first. For example Gates themselves, show # 22311 for a '98 5.0L Mountaineer:

But 22452 for a 1999:

www.gates.com

I checked White Bear Lake Ford and they too, show different part #'s (though I looked up Explorer instead of Mountaineer). An image search for those part #'s shows pics consistent with those you posted:

Would whether it has an oil cooler make a difference? IDK.
If yours looks like the one for a '99, I'd imagine it is the same part # that you need.
