1998 Ranger 3.0L with a check engine light on.

My 1998 Ford Ranger's engine light is on and has two codes set P0171 and P0174. Does anyone know what might be the problem.

its got a vacume leak or a bad maf sensor this is a code for engine running lean on both banks one and 2 so its something common to both sides posible low fuel pressure you need a scanner with pid data to look at lft1 and lft2 and sft1 sft2 to see whats going on

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the Ranger section. You might have a vacuum leak, bad spark plugs, cables or bad intake manifold gaskets.
