I have a 1998 ranger 2.3 I tried to remove it with the u shaped tools but it wont come because the console. Lookes like you would have to remove the entire instrument cover and air conditioning cover. The black plastic that goes around all of it. any suggestios on how to get it off. Or a simpler way to due it (besides taking it to a shop
