So, my transfer case is junk after 432,000 miles. I'm replacing the engine soon and I'd like to make it a true 4x4. What all do I need to make that happen? As in, what transfer case do I need, will I need different drive shafts? Will there be any wiring for the new x-fer case to work correctly? I've seen it has the 4x4 switch wiring in the dash.. I know there are other threads about this, but I cannot find a compiled list of what it would take to complete the project, thanks in advance.
