1999 AWD Mercury

So I recently was given an AWD 1999 Mercury Mountaineer. I am looking for the most basic lift for this ride. Really, I just want to be able to put decent tires on the ride. Being that this is a ford product I would obvioulsy have better luck looking for lift kits for an Explorer, but what should I be looking for, and how can I get rid of excess bodyroll in the process?? Any tips and suggestions would help me out huge, I know very little about fords and Im looking forward to seeing what they can do.

search this site for TT and shackles, fairly low-buck way to get 1.5-2" of lift.

It will stiffen up, but you'll also have to be careful with an (even) higher center of gravity.
