1999 ford explorer 4.0 sohc

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help. I have a 99 ford explorer 4.0 sohc. My vehicle is overheating I just changed the water pump and the thermostat. And my coolant in the resivor and smoking and hot from the radiator in really need of help thank you in advance
