So lost...I hooked an aftermarket stereo up in my ford explorer. Everything was working just fine, this morning I got in and it wouldn't start. the theft light was blinking and the key wouldn't even turn. I had to hook the regular cd player back up & disconnected the security keypad on my door to even get the key to turn over. I jumped it and it finally started and will start up on its own and the security light went off. Does anyone have a clue to what I need to do to install an aftermarket stereo without the anti theft locking my truck up again? is there a special clip or something? I bought the wiring harness and the special plate to fit it in.
