1st DYNO RUN RESULTS!!!

well i finally got up and got my X dyno'ed for the first time today. wasn't what i was hoping for, but it is not that bad. factory was at 117 RWHP, now it is 144 RWHP. almost 30 extra horsies. i will show the pics after i finish this thread.

as you can see the HP gains are alright but my TQ gains are really good.

she recently blew her tranny up at the track, but with a big shot 3.55 gear she ran 8.87 in the 1/8, Think your approaching my time?

oh yeah, low 14's, thats awesome!!!!! i just posted a question, of how much nitrous a 4.0 can take, what do you think, ive run a 100 alot, and 125 on the dyno, but i think that the limit

well i am trying to get up there

i was quite happy after i got my 3:73's in her, i laid rubber for 20 paces (60 feet) straight. then the cops came. she is loud as hell now with those 2 40 series flowmasters and 2.5" pipes straight thru. my next step is to throw on a blower with the vanir tech blower grind cam, and some spray. i got most of the money together, so hopefully it won't be too long. i am looking into taking a m-90 blower off a 3.8L thunderbird SC, and having it custom installed on my truck. but i want find out if it can be done first, it looks like the pulley on the front of it is off to the left vice the right side like you got on yours alec from BBK. so i don't know if i am going to have to make a custom mount to add on the other pulley or what. i got my buddy here intown looking into it. he does custom transmissions for racing and blowers, spray, you name it. he has his own business and deals with fords like it is cool. well i will let you guys know as it goes.

hey man sorry but i leave j-ville in 3 weeks, i am getting orders to beaufort s.c. at the 1st of may. if you head down there, i will be glad to get up with you, i would like to see what the mac cold air kit looks like.
this is for anyone that whats some 3:27 gears, i have 2 sets, 1 has an install kit, the other doesn't. i am looking at $40 for the one w/o the kit, and $50 for the one with, so if you have or know anyone that has 3:08 in there older explorer, let 'em know.
