1st gen 4x4 help please

'94 XLT
i have a 94 4x4 xtl and tonight while i was driving the 4x4 light came on when i got close to my house. i was kinda worried but when i pulled into my drive way the light went off. what is this, i have never seen anything about this up here. please help me out, i dont want to mess anything up but this is my only vehicle so i have to drive it tomorrow. please respond tonight.

My "4x4 high" light glows dimly after I disabled the electroic 4x4 system.

It maybey a fault in the system, go back to the removable cubby compartment and push the test light buttom on the bottom, then report back with the details.
 






I dont know why it came on. If you didnt push the button and its not in 4wheel drive when the light is on, id say its an electrical malfunction. Id get it fixed but wouldnt worry about it.
 






alright i will have to do that, but i havent used 4x4 in a couple of months because the electronic motor by the t-case needs to be cleaned and realined, or something like that.

ok well the attached pic answers teh KKM q and FYI, my "4 low" light used to glow dim after a while of driving but if i shut the truck off and turned on it would go away, no real reson and never had any problems related to it but it happened from time to time
