Would a 2.3 bolt up to the stock a4ld in the explorer? I will be getting a first gen for almost nothing and trying to figure out a more potent but cheap engine option, thoughts are a 2.3 turbo out of an Svo/ranger, 300 straight six (probably going to be long enough to cause annoyances, or 302/351. Was curious if I could save on the tanny/transfer case swap end of things for now...?
