2.8 bronco swap for 4.0 explorer

im gona swap 2.8 bronco for 4 litre engine where can i find wirind diagram for fuel injection and ignition and dos any one know if any problems about thant swap sorry my englis is bad

I think most of the wiring and computer is different. Try to get everything from the donor vehicle. Knowing the years of both vehicles will help you get an answer here.

Why would you want to downgrade? I'd like to know your reasoning behind this swap? Blown 4.0 and you have the 2.8 lying around or just to be doing it?

i think he means hes taking out a 2.8 and putting in a 4.0

You will need the EFI fuel system from a 86+ EFI Ranger or BII

the wiring depends greatly on what year 4.0L you are using and what transmission you are using

The 4.0L and the 2.9L are the SAME size, externally. They are based on the same Ford 60 degree, Cologne Engine.
