2 door differences?

I am going to buy an Explorer 2 door 2 wheel drive. Can any of you tell me if there is any differences other than the grill between the years from 1998 thru 2003? Is there a year that is preferable?

are you talking abotu diferences between the 4x4 and the 4x2 or the 4 door and the 2 door?

I believe they're basically the same except cosmetic interior and exterior features.

didn't the rear leaf springs go from mono leafs to real leaf springs some time in between '00 and '03?
