I have a stock 1994 XLT. I am wanting to install a 2" lift kit on it. The lift kit i am looking at purchasing only comes wiht front coils and rear leafs. Is this all that is needed??? Do i need to buy longer shocks??

Just out of interest, what lift kit are you looking at?

You will also need an alignment, but as far as the parts to lift it, yes thats all you need.

Yup you won't need longer shocks with a 2" I'm assuming its the performance accessories bl kit?

I was looking at the sky jacker 2" kit it seems reasonably priced. Thanks for the advice

you will need to get an alignment. If the kit doesn't come with new drop brackets for the front axle you'll need a new set of camber bushings...but the alignment shop will have those. I did an f-150 spacer/aal lift on mine and I beleive the alignment cost just around or above 100 bucks.

Good luck

I installed the 2" skyjacker. Definitely happy with my purchase.. Do the radius arm bushings the same time if you can. I just installed a couple months ago. Im about to buy some drop brackets. i don't think that my camber can be adjusted enough through an allignment. any thoughts? (i spoke to a dealership and they wondered why the hell i was putting larger springs on a split axle...) i also really don't want to mess with the ball joints.. Right now im only running 30" BFG AT but the truck is definitely capable and looks sharp..
