Ok so there has been an obnoxious sound coming from my car when under electrical load...turns out the alternator was bad(possibly a bearing because it was still charging)...replaced it today with a used 130amp alternator from an "ebay" junkyard. Put it in turn on the car all works well...noise stopped completely...but now the battery read a lot lower than before. the needle used to be at right under the battery picture...but now its almost on the white part on the "L"...Just to check...i let my audio system hit very hard the needle drops a TINY bit...and goes back up which is telling me its not the alternator (possibly)....battery read at 12-12.5v with no accessories on. :\. HALP!

Second issue is out of the blue the passenger window does not want to go down anymore (luckily its all the way up. I tried both driver and passenger side buttons...its taking electricity to attempt to go down...but doesnt move...any advice?

#1: You should have about 13.6 at the battery when running. Your battery may be the issue since the old alternator was either dead or dying. If you dropped the alternator in there, and that battery was not charged sufficiently, you could have damaged the diodes within the alternator. I lost a brand new alternator this way. The alternators in these rigs will maintain your charge, they are not made to charge a dead/dying battery back up to full charge.

2: It is very likely that your power window motor is shot.

I'll see if i get the battery charged tomm....The thing is the needle was in the middle prior to changing out the alternator.

And also you think the motor just shot out of nowhere? it was literally working yesterday and never showed any signs of going (for instance the window doesnt go up slower than normal)

Your window motor is probably allright. There is a button on your drivers door with your other buttons that can kill the power to the other windows. Maybe a child proof switch?. It should be a switch below your window buttons on the drivers door, click it in the other direction and see if your window works. Happened to me......

I dont have that button...only buttons i have are the lock button and 2 window buttons for the driver/passenger window...but the kicker? I just literally went to my car right now and MAGICALLY the window goes up and down without a problem...i dont know wtf is going on LOL

This stop the magical world of explorer electrics. Next stop is Ducati electric world.:DGlad your window problem's fixed (itself?)

It literally did fix itself...Mind boggling lol.

Definitely...How old is your battery?

with the motor runnin unhook the battery cable. if it stalls go to advanced and have them check your alt.
windows problem is probably a relay. i know mine has separate relays for each window.
