2 Questions (Deadener, and door clips)

How many ft^2 will it take to do my two front doors? Whats the best (for the price) deadener i can get?

And where can i get some of the christmas tree replacement clips, mine are all torn up.

christmas tree clips should be available at any parts store. also might not be a bad idea to pick up a set of door plug pliers like these.

I paid $20 cdn for mine recently. Door plugs were $5 for 10 of them.


As for deadener theres quite a bit of stuff out there. I used peel n seal from my local hardware store from the roofing section and have about 30 sq ft per door. It depends how much effort you want to put in and which panels you want to deaden.

I did the inner part of the outer skin and the inner part of the inner skin with 3 layers on each.

local parts store should have them not hardware store.

Autozone is the big parts store in the US isnt it? Im sure they would have it.

Pepboys has them., Autozone, Discount Auto. And if you really can't find it local, you can order
online from any of those parts stores, or another auto tool website, or Ebay.
