1) I hear air leaking from the window seals on my 2000 X Sport, the windows are rolled up completely and doors shut also, was there any kind of recall on that?

2) The front seats dont recline a whole lot, people in the passenger seat like to usually recline more than what these seats do, is there any way to modify it so it goes back further?

Hey man cool truck !!
1) NOt that I am aware of. try this. From the out side look at the side of your truck. Does the door stick out from the quarter panel at all ? Yes , move the door striker in that amount. If I am not mistaken it is a T50.
If No , then roll your window all the way down , standing inside the open door ,put your knee cap right where the door and the window opening meet grab the very top of the door and give her a lil' love tug. Not too much !!

2) I think you are suck with the range of motion you have.

hey do you happen to know the stock height from ground to lowest part of the flares on the rear?? my truck is sagging and im trying to figure out how much it went down, that way i can figure out if i wanna lower it or lift it

MoGuy, I also have a 2000 Sport. It has 35K on it, and I don't think it has sagged yet. The measurement you mentioned is 14 1/2" on mine.

Another way to measure is from the wheel center to the outside top lip of the flare. This is 19 3/8" on mine. The tire radius will not affect this measurement.

Hope this helps.

yeah my windows have been doing that a little since it's gotten real cold. I think the weather stripping is just getting hard and not getting a good seal.

Okay this is the 2000 Ex Sport thread hunh ?
Yeah , the butt on my Ex sags a bit too. No , I don't like it one bit either. Add-a-leaf apparently will not work according to the folk here. Some have told me to swap with a full size Ex leaf springs , some say do a tortion twist to get the front to match the back. ( I don't like that cause I want my back to match the front , not the other way around )
I took it to the dealership , they tossed on new shocks and gave me the " we mesured it and it is the same as the rest " Speech. Possibly in the spring I'll try the full size leaf springs.

MONMIX, I put the warriors on the back and then did the torsion bars so it matched. You can too, actually I'd like it better if you don't becasue then when this fabled '00 sport meeting takes place my truck will be bigger than yours.

How much taller did it make it?

I really don't want a lift just a level

I'm crashing this thread!!!

OK, I only have a 99 Sport, but the same stuff applies. I also had the dreaded "rear end sag." There isn't much you can do about it. You can switch to 4dr springs, and that will help. The Sport uses a single piece leaf, and the add-a-leaf won't work with those. If you swap springs, and still have some sag, the a-a-l will help.
