Liquid Metal Motorsports Coil 5 black/machined

now my question is regarding tire sizes for these 20"s. As of right now i'm trying to decide between

275/60r20 = 32.99"x10.83"x20, 6.5" sidewall
305/50r20 = 32.01"x12.01"x20, 6" sidewall

questions, comments, and concerns please? i'm also open to other size suggestions,

thanks!

OH, forgot to mention, i'm keeping both of my lifts on

I know you listed what sizes but never any brands that could help narrow it down. If it were my truck I would go for the wider ones (305). I see your truck has some lift on it why not go for more of an offroad style? those wheels look like they are built for street use. I'm not trying to knock your style it is your truck. Just curious.

The wheels and tires he just sold were offroad types, I believe he wants more of a street look but has to keep the lifts in order to fit the tires he is looking at.

Steve, those wheels are going to look so bada$$ when you get everything put on!

Thanks jwigs, and yeah I just sold my 285s. Mud tires made me want to go mudding and the mud was tearing up my truck and getting my interior way too dirty. Plus I was getting 11-12 mpg city which just wasnt good considering my 35 min city drive to work everyday. I want to decide on size before I start with brands, all I know right now is that Ill be getting street tread, not all terrain or anything.

found a set of 20"x8.5" Forte Klutch rims with 305/50r20 Toyo Proxes S/T(60% tread) for $400. They are 5x135 bolt pattern and i found a set of 1.25" 5x4.5 to 5x135 adapters for $120 shipped

what do you guys think?

I like the first ones better, but wheels+tires for $400 is obviously a good deal.

yeah, i think ill stick with my original choice. going to have to wait untill spring before i can buy though. still can't decide on tire size. 305/50s fill the wheel well pretty good, but 12+ inches might be too wide

can someone clear this up for me, the rims in the first post are 5x115, i'm seeing mixed answers... will 5x115 fit 5x114.3? i'll make up some 6061 aluminum hub bore spacers because the rim is 71.5 and explorers are only 70.5, so that will help center the rim best to accommodate the different bolt pattern?

Wish I could answer your question, but in the words of a spanish man.."no se". I found a set of your old chaos rims for about $500, they are the black version and I am thinking about getting them, but I'm having horrible decision block between four different wheels. sorry for stealing your wheel thread lol

How about the stock explorer 20's? they look pretty decent, those look like they need rubber band tires around them not some meats

i like the rims put some meats on it and let her eat.we need big tires from michigan pot holes

there'll be as much meat on them as i can fit. either 33x10.8 or 32x12.4

i got a quote from discount tire today and the out the door cost was $1600 flat for 305/50r20 Yokohama Parada Spec-X on the 20x9 Coil 5's(+18 offset). now to start saving

I need new tires for my 20s want to lift it first hopefully soon

wound up going with used rims and 275/60r20 tires. 33.03"x11.06"

im pleased with how they look, and contrary to my earlier posts, i went with an all terrain tread pattern
