I'm going to replace the fuel injectors with refurbished OEM Bosch injectors. They come with two O-rings (one on each end). Does my Explorer have fuel injector seats? If so, the should I also replace the seats? Please advise. Many thanks.

Yes and yes

When I was super charging my 99 I replaced them

Do you have a part number

Problem is is you're gonna break 1 or more trying to remove the old injectors buy all 6

Roger that... and thanks. I'm going to get six F77Z9G512AA Fuel Injector Seals/Sleeves.

Use a little Vaseline on the o rings makes it so much easier to drop in

OK... will do. Thanks. Any pointers on removing the old fuel injectors so I don't break anything that's plastic? I know how to get down to the injectors (remove manifold, etc.), but I've never removed nor replaced an injector.

Remove the intake manifold
Fuel injectors are right there
Undo the screws for the injector rails and then slowly pry up on the injector not the rail just work your way way back a little at a time it will come off little lubricant helps too Once you have all of them removed from the engine Just pull them out of the fuel rail 1 at a time little twist helps tooside

The fuel injector fuel line hoses are braided stainless steel but they are nylon on the inside don't kink them

You do not need to remove The fuel lines just lay the Fuel rail assembly to the side

The injector isolator insulators seats Whatever you call him There are more of a pain in the butt to get out really easy to go in put them in and then injectors into them

Install your injectors into your fuel rail 1st and then put them all in snap them down all at 1 time on the vehicle.
Just be careful you're working with fuel
Make sure your battery is disconnected you're working with fuel

If I can help in any other way just ask

Excellent! Thank you!
