2000 5.0 data port location?

Might swing by a yard tonight but unsure of the weather.
Is this located under the hood or under dash.
Currently mine is under hood on my V8 Volvo swap.
Before I find a permanent home I would like to know how Ford did it.

Its under the steering wheel to the left. will have a cover to get access.
