I've looked all over this forum for some ideas or threads that pertain to my "special" problem. I used the wealth of info found herein to help me V8 swap my '98 2wd (which btw has recently rolled 200k). now I have another project..... I
want to use a 2000 explorer as an organ donor for a street rod(ish) project. I had planned to use a different eng/trans/t-case(carb/351/c6np205) now this efi jewel drops in my lap. So now I have some questions, and I think you guys can help.
1. will the trans shift properly without the rear diff speed sensor?
2. any idea how to power the pcm without the explorer dash?
3. anyone want to help me eliminate unwanted wires from the explorer harness?
this is going in a 1940 ch#@y pickup (because I can) to be used mostly for recreational purposes. I plan on making it semi-streetable, lights and noise
