I have a 2000 Explorer AWD, and the tach is intermittent. I've searched the forums, wasn't able to come up with any fixes, although it seems to be a common problem. Has anyone made any headway with this....is it a wiring issue or the tach itself?
Also, the drivers door "lock/unluck" button will not unlock the doors. All other buttons work and the keyfob works too. I had the switch apart looking for burnt or dirty contacts, but it looks brand new! Any common problems here I should be aware of?
