2000 exp. wont start

Yes, I am aware of the many threads, recently. I have read them, and I am not sure what to do

It turns over. Has power to everything. CEL comes on. I can hear the fuel pump, it comes on for a few seconds then quits. But yet, it wont start.

I do not have a fuel pressure gauge and at this moment, NO way to get one. Is there anything I can pull off, to see if its getting fuel?? A picture would be SUPER helpful LOL

It did this once before, a couple months ago and finally started after like 10 minutes. Ive been randomly trying now for the past 30 minutes and nothing. I am alone this weekend, with my kids, as my husband is out of town, so rather limited on what I can buy and try.

ANY ideas?? Im really frustrated. I dont feel good and was going to go pick up some cold meds. It was running just fine yesterday, the few times we drove it.

Still nothing. Ive tried tapping the relay, changing it with one next to it, d/c'ing the shut off thing and r/c'ing it. Guess when hubby gets home, Ill get a new relay and maybe fuel pump..

Anything you guys could suggest, that I could try myself, would be great. Im at a loss.

And I found that other thread..the THEFT light stays on when the key is on.

I had the coil tested, and the guy said he's fairly certain its fine, and to check the cam position sensor or the ignition control thing?

Any ideas guys?? Im really hoping for some help here, as if I dont figure it out, it probably wont get fixed until later this week...

And being almost 35 weeks preg. with two other kids, I NEED my car to start...are these other sensors easy to get to? Are they testable, so I could possibly pull them off, and just take them in?

After reading through aldives thread, Im hoping its the CKP. I have one issue. I cant find my book and Id like to try cleaning the sensor or something. Could someone get me a picture or a GOOD explanation of where it is??? I got that its on the driver side, valve cover..but uhm..there is a LOT of stuff over there LOL

Never mind guys. I found the CKP and after tapping it and wiggling the wires, IT STARTS!
