Hi,

My blower on my 2000 explorer quit working all of a sudden. When I turn on the vents, A/C, or heat no air comes out. About a week ago I took my truck in to get the A/C looked at and they told me that the air compressor clutch was going out. I don't think the two are related but could they be? Also, I checked and replaced the fuses to be sure but that wasn't the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks:D

It could be that your blower motor resistor has died, pretty common failure among just about any car out there, do you have the automatic climate controls or the manual knobs?

I have manual knobs. I was going to check the resistor next. If that doesn't work, I'm at a loss.

Well, the resistor worked...for a day and a half:( I've also replaced the blower relay during this. Is it possible that I bought a bad resistor and it quit working or could it be something else?

Resistor, if from China, could be bad.
