Been doing a LOT of reading here on this problem, but figured I'd start a thread to (hopefully) correctly diagnose my specific problem.

Here's the deal. A few days ago I was driving on the highway and went to pass a vehicle. When I got on it, the RPMs increased and I got zero acceleration. After feathering the accelerator a little bit, I got acceleration back, but every time I got on it for the rest of my commute, the same thing would happen. I also noticed that, when I was at a stop sign, I would have to shift down to 1st (I have an AT) and work up. The O/D light starting blinking as well.

On the way home, I could get on it no problem - hard acceleration, smooth gear shifts. About 10 minutes from home, she started acting up again - slipping/high RPMs/no acceleration.

I've been having similar issues with this problem showing up intermittently over the last few days - today it started up with reverse as well.

Any thoughts?
