I Just purchased a 2000 Explorer Limited and thanks to this forum I was able to find the Key Code on the computer module.
I have a question though, the lumbar switch to pump air into the drivers seat is broken. Originally it would pump air in if pushed forward, but the other switch (to release air) is stuck, so the air would immediately be released again. I tried taking the plastic rocker piece off to see if I could clean out the switch, but all thats inside is a spring. I put the plastic rocker back on and now it won't work in either direction, so I am guessing the switch is bad.
All the other switches/controls on the drivers seat, and all of the controls on the passenger's seat work fine.
Is this an easy fix, or much I replace the switch, and if so, how do I do so, step by step?
Thanks!
