Hey guys, im new to the forum.

I want to get a rear roll pan for my 2000 explorer and from what I can see I need to either fabricate it myself or buy an older model explorer roll pan and work it onto my body.
Both of these ideas sound horrible to me and I was looking for some advice or links to some roll pans for 2000 Explorer XLT.

Any advice is greatly appreciated..

look at the link in my signature. 98 is the same as a 00. that and the curve on a sport groud effect is the same as the filler panel on all other explorers.

So your saying that I wouldnt have to jimmy it into place if I got the roll pan from CanDo for a 98 expo sport?

i couldn't tell you, i made mine from scratch. besides, and i am not putting you down as i say this, but i have more pride in saying that i built something, rather then buying it, and bolting it on.

yeah no doubt my man, but i dont think i have enough talent to do what you did.

honestly, if you can cut cardboard, and tape it together, you can make this. the difference is, the cardboard is metal, and the tape is a wielder. you work the metal, don't let the metal work you. also, one other nice thing about metal is, if you make a mistake, you can weld in another part. the hardest part of the hole thing was matching the curves to the ground effects (the part that i had to heat, weld, and hammer).
