2000 Ford Explorer XLS

Can someone help me out with an answer to this question. I have a 2000 ford explorer xls. While turning the steering wheel in either direction I can feel something moving around while my foot is flat on the floorboard on the drivers side. I had new upper and lower ball joints installed 6 months ago. I'd appreciate any suggestions at all...

Welcome to this forum! The rack & pinion is moving the front wheels. What else do you feel moving?

I don't know what I feel...all I know is when I turn the steering wheel in either direction I can feel something moving under my feet on the floorboard? Any other suggestions? Don't know about the rack and pinion.....Please describe.... Also is it ok to drive that way if it is the rack and pinion?

check the frame bushings. I just had to replace them on my wifes 2000 XLS
