ball joints and or tie rod ends

ok i apologize for the bad grammer in my question.. i was on a lap top and couldn't type worth a darn.. So here goes again.. The hub went bad so we replaced it.. it didn't wobble or shake or anything while it was broke.. if the ball joint or tie rod was bad wouldn't it wobble before we fixed the hub too?? because it was ridding smooth the whole time the hub was bad, it just made a grinding sound.. we thought it might just be the wheel wasn't balanced anymore..

yeah that changes things.

It would seem to me something went wrong in your replacement then. I would get the wheels balanced just to CYA, but I would try to find out if the axle nut is tourqued to spec. Too tight or too loose can cause problems. I am not sure what that spec is off hand. If it did not shake before the repair but it does afterward I would trace all my steps.
