2000 Mercury Mountaineer AC Problem

Just got this great SUV, only problem so far is the when you turn on the AC no matter if you choose max ac, panel floor or automatic, it will not blow air from the center or side facing vents. Anyone else experiance this and is there a fix for it ?

If you bought it from a dealer take it back. Even with a private party its worth going back to ask if they'll cover the repair or know what may be the problem.
