This forum was fantastic. Saved myself labor costs at a mechanic by following recommendations here by others. Changed my 5.0 v8 spark plugs in 30 minutes. Platinum plugs were 2 to a pack for $8.97. But there was mail in rebate for $12.00. Got them at Walmart. Already gapped. Didnt have to take off tires, just pop off splash guards. Used extension and ratchet. Pulled wire boot off, Used breaker bar to get plugs loose. Replaced by hand so not to crossthread, Used torque wrench(15ftlbs) to tighten. Snapped on wire boots, put splash guards back on. Started vehicle. So easy.
