I just changed out the thermostat and all hoses with new coolant on my
5.0 mountaineer. No leaks and all runs well except that now the temperature gauge barely gets above the cold side and never gets to the normal location in the middle between cold and hot. Is it possible that the new thermostat is bad ? I also burped the system to get the air out.
