Hi all. All of a sudden, my foglights stopped working. I checked both bulbs, they are fine. Also checked the #8 fuse according to the manual. The switch has a small light that does illuminate when pressed in.

Can anyone give me some leads where to start looking? Car is all stock, no aftermarket alarms, etc.

any help is appreciated!

search, its there...

thanks i guess, but I already did. The searches are leading to vague issues on different models relating to the headlights, etc.

Anyone else? Is there a specific relay or underhood fuse I should be looking for to test?

I dont know much about the electrical but I would suggest as a last resolution to to turn to a taredown rebuild book, there not expensive and will help if you ever had any other problems. I picked up mine at advance auto parts.

It can only be one of five things, two of which you've eliminated, and one that's not likely.

The switch
The relay
The wiring
The fuse
The bulbs.

The last two you said were good. The wiring is usually OK, except in the case of brighter than OEM replacement bulbs that were used. It could be the switch, or the relay, and I suspect the relay.

There's also the remote possibility that the multifunction switch for the high beams took a dive.... you'll need to start tracing the wires with a test light to see where the open point in the circuit is.
