Hi everyone...been lurking around here for a long time and have only posted once or twice. Let me just say this forum is a great place for information.
I have a stock 2000 Sport. Well, it went down like this: Last night, I was pulling out of a parking lot, and to make a long story short, did not see a huge rock in front of me and drove into it, putting the front of my car up on it, scraping my bumper in the meantime. I got out to check the damage, expecting my bumper to be completely devastated, however, to my surprise, it was not, minus some serious scratches, which were mostly underneath. Also, the cross-member is banged up a bit, and a tie-rod may be bent, as my alignment, which used to pull to the right a bit now pulls to the left (almost a relief!). All of that will be checked out Friday by my mechanic to make sure everything is OK.
However, the part of this whole thing that bothers me is that my driver's side fog light was torn off during all this. I was able to retrieve it and I have verified it still works, but the pieces of the housing that hold it to the inside of the bumper are completely torn off.
I was wondering if someone here might have a stock 2000 Sport fog light that they would like to part with (for a price of course). If not, I would like to know if anyone knows of a way to replace these fog lights with aftermarkets which may be cheaper than buying the OEM ones. Thanks for all your help in advance!
