Hello! Been stalking this forum for awhile.
Decided to make a build thread of my 2000 Explorer.
Specs:
4.0 SOHC
4x4
Auto
4.10 gears w/LS
Picked this up off Craigslist for $700, had a coolant leak, and need tires plus suspension work. I intend to make it a trail rig.
I replaced the thermostat/housing, front and rear timing chain tensioners, did a coolant flush, upper and lower intake manifold gaskets, sway bar links, rear axle bearings, rear diff fluid change, upper control arms/balljoints, tie rod ends, and front hub bearings.
Also did the TT, and Warrior Shackles in the rear with 285/75/16 (32.8x11.22") Nankang Mudstar tires.
Next up on the list is shocks and brakes all around.
