I have a 2001 Sport with the stock fog lights. I noticed yesterday that the right bulb blew out. When I went to remove it, I noticed that the bulb has shattered inside of the fog light housing. Here's my questions:
1. How do you remove the bulb (do I need to remove any of the underbody to access the bulb?)
2. Any idea how the bulb shattered in the housing?
3. How do I remove the housing so that I can remove the bits and pieces of bulb?
Thanks.
Steve

why not just bring it to the dealer and get them to fix it.. shouldnt it be covered under your warranty??

Thats not covered under the war.. its normal wear and tear... they dont cover that.... as far as how it broke... maybe some water got in there? and as far as getting it out... it just unclips.... dont worry about the glass in there... it should not do any harm

Thanks for the advice. I canceled my appointment at Ford because I knew they were gonna charge me for the fix. I had to unscrew the plastic wheel well shield to get to the bulb, but once I gained access, it was a piece of cake to change. I left the pieces of glass inside the housing, too. Thanks again.
