2001 Ranger p1400/p1409 code

Hello all,

got the p1400 and p1409 code for my '01 ranger 4x4 with 3.0 v6. I have already replaced the EGR valve and EGR solenoid and still get the code. i have cleared the code from the computer but it shows back up after awhile.

I checked the green vacuum line from the solenoid to the EGR and cant detect (by feel) any vacuum, but i cant find a leak in the line.

after looking through the freeze frame option on the code reader is showes that the LTFT on B1% and B2% are at -1.56, STFT on both read 0.0

Anyone have any tips.

those are ok numbers for fuel trim i would try cleaning the ports for the egr specially if you cant feel vacuum sometimes they get clogged by oil or carbon
happens all the time at my work
