2001 side steps on a 96

i have a set of 2001 side steps and want to put them on my 96 limited. has this been done? and will they fit?

You mean, you already have everything you need, and you just need to line up the bolt holes and make sure the steps do not get near the tires (check turning radius)? If it hasn't been done, and you do it, it's aalll good then

I think there is a limited, is it Allie that has it with step bars? hmm... not sure, it's all white with with step bars.
