Hi All,
Changed the brake pads on my 2002 Exp 2wd today. Now the pedal wants to go to the floor with little resistance. At first I thought that I was simply pushing the calipers back out, but there is no end insight to this.
I have changed brakes many many times in my life so I am not a newbie to this. I am sure there is some simple explanation that I am hoping that you pros can shed some light on for me.
I made sure that the fluid levels were all OK. Never inntroduced air into the system, etc.
Could this be something with the ABS/Computer?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

Anytime you do a brake job - it's good to bleed the brakes (atleast gravity bleed them). Also, do NOT push thefluid back up through the lines, always crack the bleeder and push it out the bleeder screw. Try bleeding it and if that doesn't work come back

i was reading you post about mushy brakes and wanted to know if you figured out what the problem was. i did exactly the same thing and still have mushy brakes. this was also not my first brake job.
