--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just had 265/65/17 REVO's put on my 02 XLT Explorer last night, man they ride SUPER nice ). What a difference from the BF Rugged 245/65/17 factory tires. I'm glad I didn't go with the 265/70/17's REVO's I don't think they would have fit without making some adjustments these are really close. Thanks for all the input on these tires, I wasn't even considering the REVO's until I read the stories about them and started researching online.....Thanks again people!

P265/75R16 is approximately 31.6" tall.. I believe BenS had a set of 285/75/16 mtrs on his truck without any trimming or lift.. I believe his tires were worn down so more than likely a 285/75/16 brand new would rub so I assume 265/75/16 or even 275/75/16 wouldn't rub however, if I was in your situation, I would first do a test fit. Here's a pic of BenS's truck for reference..

Not to be an a$$, but this forum has a handy new feature called "search." Using this "search" feature, you can find that this question has been asked many, many, many times before. Hence the board members' unusually slow response. Not only has the question of maximum tire sized been asked, but the P265/75R16 tires you specifically mentioned have been discussed in several posts as well.

As you've only posted twice so far, and both of these posts are regarding yourself, I suggest taking some time to learn about the search button and how it works. In fact, here's an educational film regarding the subject...
