2002 EB noisy compressor

Is it normal to have noisey compressor, I noticed that when i turn on my heator air cond.. the compressor clicks on, you can hear that, but has a winny nouise, just put new belt on, but did it with the old belt also.. is this a normal sound or is something going bad on the compressor.....? Thanks.

Something similar happens to mine too. When I turn on the ac or defrost, eveything the compressor is running, I get a noticible vibration among other things. I'm still trying to determine if its a bad bearing or something...
