2002 engine dies suddenly/unexpectantly

I’d also check that your fan feels tight on the water pump (not too much side to side play, and that it spins smoothly) while you have the belt off.
 












Hi, I put a smaller belt on, your correct nothing changed. I checked the fan looks good. Now this morning it just turns over and dies not like yesterday, it would idle for a minute or less then die.

About a year ago I had a problem some what like this so I changed the MAF no change, I change the AIC no change and then some one suggest clogged cats, so I drilled some holes in the cats and bam that was the problem. so I put a new cat on and thats been about a year ago. Also I changed all the spark plugs coil packs fuel filter new battery.


So im wondering if it could be the clooged cat again.
